Agronomy Operations Coordinator

• Full-time position available at Hamilton Agronomy at our Traverse City location coordinating the delivery of agricultural input products to our customers.

   

• The main job responsibility of this position is to work with team members and customers taking chemical and fertilizer orders and then coordinating and executing the safe delivery of the products.

• Applicant must have the following:

  Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone.

  Good organizational and planning skills.

  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to multi task.

  A safety mentality.

  An understanding of logistics to be able to effectively schedule customer deliveries.

  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  A general knowledge of Micro-Soft Office and ability to learn the operational software (AgVance).

  Agricultural background is preferred, but not necessary.

  A CDL B with HazMat is also preferred, or willingness to get a B license.

  Four-year degree or relative work experience.
