Customer Service Representative

  • This full-time position for a Customer Service Team Member for Hamilton Feed and Commodities is available immediately. 

  • The position’s main responsibility is to provide our Feed and Commodity customers with a superior customer service experience.  Specific responsibilities will include:

    • Answering inbound telephone calls.

    • Receiving, grading, contracting and pricing grain.

    • Scaling inbound and outbound products.

    • Scheduling deliveries.

    • Invoicing products

    • Processing payables

    • Entering data into the respective business’ software.

    • Assisting with the dealer network, including communications, promotions, award programs, dealer credits, product manuals, order forms and price list distributions.

  • Applicant must demonstrate high energy, a passion for customer service, a genuine desire to work with farmers, strong telecommunication skills and excellent computer skills. Must have experience as a successful customer service representative and a proven track record in multitasking.  Needs to be professional, dependable and respectable of our customers and co-workers.

  • This position will annually average at least 32 hours per week and will be eligible for benefits.  Due to the seasonality of this business, more hours will be required during the harvest. 

  • The successful candidate must have at least a two-year degree.  Experience in a in an ag-related business is a plus.
